This work is due on Tuesday. Students should also be practicing what we have already learned about fractions.

Fractions Quiz

Students completed a quiz on fractions to see where they were doing well and where they needed improvements. They have been asked to get their quiz signed so that parents can also see how they are doing in their learning with fractions. This is not a completed unit, but a part of our fractions and decimals unit (fractions, decimals, and percentages for grade 6). Students will have a chance to improve with fractions, but have been asked to review at home and come see me for extra help with concepts they do not understand fully. Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to help improve before the final test at the end of our unit.

Assembly

Congratulations to the students for leading a wonderful assembly today. I was able to stand on the side of the stage and let them handle everything, without worrying about anything or anyone! The people who spoke did an awesome job and our song sounded amazing! I am proud of each and every one of you! Fantastic!
