Homework for Friday, Feb. 23

Grade 5 students are continuing to work with decimals, learning how to round them to the nearest tenths place. Students have written down the decimals 0.43 , 0.78 , 0.29 , 0.96 , 1.74 , 2.87 , 5.97, and 9.99 in their agendas, and are asked to round each decimal to the nearest tenth as practice.

Grade 6 students have begun working with percentages and relating them to decimals and fractions. They have been assigned #1, 2, 3, 8, 10, 11, and 12 on page 308 of the text. They were given time to work on some of this homework in class and should have already completed the first few.
